Whatever your age, if you’re really serious about improving, there’s no substitute for one to one individual lessons. After many years of teaching, Neil and Alan have found that a combination of individual lessons and group lessons/ensemble playing sessions is the key to progressing quickly in all of the skills a great musician needs (listening skills, performing, repertoire, musicianship, technique).
Neil and Alan both teach in schools across Bristol. Often parents decide after their child has started to have lessons at school and shown interest and commitment that it is worthwhile opting for private lessons to have that extra time and attention to taking things to the next level.
